GoAir, the Mumbai-based low-cost carrier, recently announced the launch of air services on seven new routes as a part of its overseas routes expansion plan. While Bangkok, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi and Dubai are overseas cities involved in this phase of expansion, Kannur, New Delhi and Mumbai are the domestic ones. Apart from offering GoAir flight tickets on seven new routes, the airline will also provide additional services on some of the pre-existing routes on its network.
Kuwait, Dubai and Bangkok are new markets for GoAir and the airline wishes to exploit these to the fullest. The new GoAir flights include routes Delhi-Abu Dhabi-Delhi, Kannur-Muscat-Kannur and Mumbai-Muscat-Muscat. Flyers will be able to travel on these routes from 19th July 2019.

Recently, GoAir also announced the commencement of new flights on the Mumbai-Abu Dhabi-Mumbai and Kannur-Abu Dhabi-Kannur routes from 19th July 2019. The airline seems to be striving to fill the void that has been created by the departure of Jet Airways from the Indian civil aviation industry. SpiceJet is also currently undergoing an expansion of its international flights, having announced eight new air services from New Delhi and Mumbai.
